About Us
MISSION
Good Intentions Support Services (GISS) mission is to provide supports specific to the individuals need, while enforcing their freedom of choice. Advocating for people with but not limited to, Intellectual Developmental Disabilities (IDD). While implementing a system to monitor progress, goals, home life and health care. GISS will provide assistance as needed.
HISTORY
Attributing to a career in the Human Service field for over 25 years providing Support Services. Assisting individuals through challenging circumstances as well as, sharing familiar struggles. The founder formed an essential organization by the name of Good Intentions Support Services (GISS) in year 2019.
In partnership with The Agency for People with Disabilities (APD), GISS began with providing Support Coordination for the vulnerable population in year 2020.
The impact of the CORONA Virus affected so many of our families, love ones and close friends. The people with exceptional needs were effected in ways unimaginable.
Residential Supports became a top demand due to limited resources for the impoverished & homeless. As a life long advocate for people with specific needs. This unfortunate crisis influenced GISS to restructure its focus to begin providing assistance in this area.
